Attorney Gregory B. Blasbalg has extensive experience in all areas of real estate law and conveyancing. Before entering private practice, Mr. Blasbalg acted as Title Counsel and Residential Closing Manager to a local title insurance company for over eleven years. During that time he represented countless residential and commercial real estate clients in complex real estate transactions. Mr. Blasbalg has acted as title counsel to large corporations, lenders and law firms in transactions involving multi-million dollar real estate acquisitions and financing. He has experience resolving complex title clearing matters and has represented institutional lenders as lender’s counsel in commercial and residential financing transactions. Additionally, Attorney Blasbalg has represented sellers and purchasers in residential real estate transactions of all levels of sophistication.
Mr. Blasbalg is admitted to practice law in the State of Rhode Island and Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the Roger Williams University School of Law and a B.A. degree from the University of Rhode Island. During law school, Mr. Blasbalg served as Articles Editor of the Law Review and as legal intern to the Honorable Judge Bruce M. Selya of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Mr. Blasbalg was twice elected to the North Kingstown School Committee and served as Chairman of the Committee for six years. He resides in North Kingstown with his wife and three children.
